Hong Kong FedEx customs declaration fee
When the value stated on the invoice surpasses a specific limit, a supplementary export declaration fee is applied in Hong Kong. According to the fee standard, if the declared value exceeds 10000 USD, an extra charge of 100 RMB is imposed on each invoice. Additionally, for every additional 5000 USD, an extra charge of 20 RMB is incurred. Any portion of the value exceeding 10000 USD but less than 5000 USD is also subject to a supplementary charge of 20 RMB. For instance, if the declared value amounts to 12600 USD, the Hong Kong declaration fee will be increased by 120 RMB.
BE CAREFUL
Special note: There are certain size limits that FedEx implements for packages. Specifically, any package whose longest side (length) is over 274cm, or whose single box weight exceeds 68kg, or whose sum of three sizes (width + height * 2 + length) is over 330cm is considered a super large package. If your package falls into this category, the minimum charge that will apply is 68kg. Additionally, super large packages can only be shipped through IEF and IEF International priority express heavy cargo service IPF.
Certain items are not permitted for shipping and cannot be included in packages. These prohibited items include counterfeit products, aerosol cans, alcohol, asbestos, butane lighters, medical waste, toxic substances, corrosive materials, fake banknotes, medication, dry ice, flammable and explosive materials, obscene articles, magnetic items exceeding the standard limit, oxides and organic peroxides, firearms and ammunition, soluble paints and coatings, as well as any other items that are banned by local laws. Please ensure that none of these items are included in your package to avoid any possible complications during shipping.
The following items are subject to restriction: articles containing batteries, drugs for emergency medical treatment or scientific research, guns intended for sports purposes, live animals, non-standard magnetic articles, perishable articles, radioactive articles, vaccines, and more. INSURANCE CLAIMS
Scope of claims
The insurance fee and reimbursement for purchased packages covered by insurance will be based on the terms set forth in Keensta's "insurance service" agreement. It is important to rearrange the wording to avoid plagiarism and ensure that the new content accurately reflects the original information.
Packages without insurance coverage will be subject to UPS service terms for claims resolution. However, it is important to note that the maximum reimbursemnt provided for each shipment cannot exceed 100.
